The Shogun Ash mantra is a simple one: Be yourself and push for what you believe in. You'll never truly find yourself if you chase everyone else's wave. Believe in your own sauce, work hard and what's yours will find you.
It can be hard being noticed at times and there’s always the urge to jump ship and chase the in-thing, but I firmly believe the best content is the content you care about. It touches real people in a real way and connects with them on a level that can’t be matched.
That’s why I’m keen to create content that empowers my fellow creators and our audiences to celebrate their true authentic selves.
Whether it’s playing a little known indie game for a handful of core viewers, or reliving the glory days of Gen 1 Pokemon with a group of late twenty-somethings on a Friday night, my content will always centre around providing a safe space for everyone to be themselves and enjoy doing so, proudly.
